Is it that time already?
Halloween is over...and Christmas season is here.
I know I was born in Canada and that I chose to stay here...but I really dislike the idea of scraping the car first thing in the morning...in the dark.
So I've decided to REALLY focus on the positives this year, and here's what I've come up with:
First off...Christmas!
Remember how exciting Christmas Eve was? I'm looking forward to seeing my kids TRY to contain the excitment Christmas morning.
* Time spent with family and friends around a table full of "comfort food"!
* Some may reap the benefits of a hot tub on the back patio, others cozy up infront of a beautiful wood burning fireplace on a stormy winters night. I tend to search those people out and offer up a bottle of wine with my visit.
* How about the fun recreational stuff that the snow brings on like skiing, snowmobiling and toboganning!
Think of it this way...
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.
No I didn't come up with that - but I thought it was a nice touch to my positive winter thinking!
