I finally did it....flushed my phone:(

So I finally did it....dropped my Iphone in water:( Not just any water of course...had to be toilet water! No no...before you paint the wrong picture in your mind, I hadn't gotten that far in the washroom process.

I forgot i had put my phone in my back pocket and then before I had a chance to get very far - I heard the plop!!! I freaked - grabbed the phone immediately and ran down the stairs screaming at my son to grab the rice...grab the rice!! Neither kid knew what was going on...lol

So, I sat and waited. Wondering if the water was going to seep in and ruin my....everything. Oh, I should mention I waited on Facebook too - of course I had to report on my mishap...here are some of the posts I got:

Status Update: My Iphone is in a bag of rice at the moment....so if I'm not getting back to you...well....I hope it's not important:(

* Worked for me and my phone stayed out in the rain face up all night. Hope it works for you Sue!

* Mine got thrown in the pool once...rice didn't fix it...but I've heard that it does work alot! Good luck!

* My son's went through the wash (90 minute) cycle and the rice did wonders!! Used it a couple days later but put it in the rice bag each night for about a week and a half and NO signs of damage. I'd say if you are using it through the bag, you should be good.

Well I'm happy to say so far so good. It stayed in the bag overnight and I'm using it today...I hope I'm in the clear...and I vow never to pee with my phone again!
